Again with my blessings: During this pandemic I have been blessed to connect with music artists from all around the world; creating unique fusions of art, dance choreography and videography with their music for music promotions and videos. My latest collaboration project was with Brazilian pop singer Ericca De Lima!
I was given the challenge of creating a piece with emphasis on the songs title "Turn the light off".
The song for me held a lot of pop energy and passion, with
The whole of last week I was lucky enough to be chosen as an independent dance artist to take part in Ransack Dance EXPLORE program. It was a little bit of a physically challenging week, doing 6 hour company sessions each day, multiple workshops throughout the week, my regular teaching (which during half term wasn't so regular but Extra!), the private one to ones, running my developed courses and still keeping up my personal training; it was a bit full week of dance and even
I have spent so much of what's been this year blessed working with music artists collaborating, creating, fusing new tracks with videography and choreography.
My latest collaboration project was with Brooklyn rapper Dave La! and it's been so much fun! The heavy drops, dope beats and smooth flowing lyrics on "Get Cash" seriously got me hype, I heard it one time and the ideas were just flowing! First thing I needed was a location that fits the mood of the track, I wanted to em
Over the last month or so I have been working with American multi genre music artist Max Strong, Long Island native New York! Together we devised and created a micro music video to act as marketing for his new track Virus!
Max Strong's music style doesn't follow the typical trends, he takes hip hop and rock music and clashes them together with horror culture creating unique flows, tones, licks and rhythms; each tracks art uniquely standing alone yet seamlessly fitting toget
For the last year, Helena May and I have been discussing the concept of a dance-led music video for a track on her upcoming album before the album was even completed; which track it was, the feeling of those tracks, video ideas, those have all changed multiple times. Bringing it together has been a rollercoaster – I was busy on tour, Helena was busy on tour, we were always in different countries, she was busy in the studio recording the album, I was on an advert shoot, mannn

During the last month I have been working alongside Musician Stu Gray creating Dance promotions for featured tracks. Since 1980, Stu's been writing and recording his own material, which in the mid 80's reached modest success in Europe. It's now, after a long rest from music, he is re-recording ALL of his work - ten albums in total.
I first collaborated with Stu on his newest track "Chewing gum" which is launching in the near future on Spotify, Youtube, Amazon Music etc. wher
As a Special Christmas treat from the 14th to the 24th of December 2020 all of my Children's Classes will be known as "Dance with Santa" Classes. As the name suggest I will be dressing up as Santa to make these dance sessions just that little bit more Christmassy (it's a word?), fun (definitely a word) and special for all those attending! These classes are open to all Children of any dance ability.
As well as the kids learning some awesome dance moves, my main focus of the
We've all heard the news: Breaking has been added to the 2024 Paris Olympics, as a Dancer and more so as a Breaker I can biasly say this is absolutely amazing and has been a long time coming! I'm reading comments from both sides, some good, some bad; but we all have our right to opinion even if it's bias right?!
Take the squash players for example, their all kicking off, some even saying its a making a "mockery" of the Olympics, it was actually Michelle Martin that said that
Throughout 2020 I have been writing a book on dance; when I started writing my original purpose was to create a “how to” book using images from the tutorials I have been creating with a written explanation on how to do each movement - cool idea now I think back to that origin I should probably make that also. But I thought “how to” isn't the correct wording at all, as there isn't a 'correct way' for a person to Break and if there is, who am I to tell people how to dance, danc
Today my good friend @maplestruggle and I were lucky enough to get exclusive access to the Umbrella Collectives Art space found in Capitol Centre, Cardiff; where currently there's an Urban-UV exhibition focused on Modern Technology! - This exhibition is running until Saturday 28th of November, make sure to get yourself down there so you don't miss out! We had such an amazing time in the space, enjoying the exhibition and getting to meet some of the friendly artists within the
